Meeting Room

  •  A fee of $25.00 will be charged for the following: for-profit activities, birthday parties, baby/bridal showers, or any type of party.  There will be no charge for nonprofit use of the Meeting Room, but voluntary contributions for its use will be accepted.  A $25.00 refundable cleaning fee will be required upon picking up key.  The cleaning fee will be returned if room is left in acceptable conditions per check list provided.
  • The capacity of the meeting room is 70 persons.
  • Some equipment available in the meeting room includes projection screen, multimedia projector (available upon request), and lectern.
  • A kitchenette is available for preparing refreshments.
  • Users of the meeting room are to leave the room as they find it.  Sweep floors, wipe tables and counters. A broom/dust mop is provided. Please take out trash and place in green bin outside.

Important: Before filling out a meeting room application call the library at 641-939-2173 to check availability.

Study Room

The study rooms will be available during open hours.  Patrons are available to use the rooms for 2 hours per day. Capacity of each room is 2 people. Purpose of room is for quiet work. If staff feels use of room is not being used correctly, you will be asked to leave room immediately.
